Andy from 88 Topps, 78 Topps, and
Traded Sets heard about the infamous '96 Score Bobby Higginson card and wanted a better look so I dug it up out of my Score box. But wait there's more....
Foil Higgy.
Copycat Finley.
Bonus Bipbrero.
Holy crap, look at that bat!
Man, I love old Score...

Thanks!
So what other cards feature players holding up something with writing on it?
Is there a story behind this Higginson card?
So Score took Bobby Higginson hostage.....did they ask for money or just hold a gun to his head to hold the sign. Shouldn't they have had him hold up that days newspaper so his family would know he was alive. Proof of life and all. Or maybe it's a mug shot....was Bobby out partying with Nick Nolte or something.
I miss Score. They were ahead of their time in '88 and then got thrown under the bus by Upper Deck. They deserved a better fate and the hobby would be better off if they were still around.
Is it just me or does Bip looked a little peeved that he has to wear that supid had?
96 was one of my favorite sets. Although I didn't put it together until a few years ago.
Great big pictures, color coordinated team names. Was a basic card set is all about.
I believe Dunston handed his kid back to the mother by throwing him 96 miles an hour at her 5 feet over her head.
Score rocks. I'm about to a buy a box of '92 Score if my shop still has it in (they did last week, should've got it then).
I love cards with pictures of players signing an autograph. No real reason, other than I like autographs I guess.
I agree with jswaykos; those cards showing a player signing are pretty cool. They look even better when you get that same card signed for your own collection.
