The Braves raided
Japan again today to sign another pitcher.
Yoshinori Yamarin is an 18 year old righty who is a few years away from the bigs. He is going to pitch in an Australian developmental league this summer and might pitch in the minors next year. There's a
cool picture gallery on this Japanese language site that I'll probably swipe from to MSPaint up a card of the dude. Maybe he can be this year's Kazuo Uzuki? Funny how the Braves have ignored Japanese players for over a decade but have jumped in with both feet this offseason. Maybe they've finally gotten over Hideo Nomo stealing Chipper's Rookie of the Year award away from him.
