Here's a 1991 Mark Lemke Upper Deck card. There are many different layers of significance here. 1991 was the year the Braves went from the losingest losers to ever lose to 14 straight division champs. 1991 was also the year I quit being an old school cardboard snob and fully embraced the newfangled hologrammed I-don't-know-what-it-is-but-that-stock-ain't-cardboard buck twenty-five a pack man I hope I pull a David Justice Upper Deck. Mark Lemke had a helluva October in 1991. He's gone on to become a well-liked broadcaster for the Braves. Lemmer does the pregame shows on radio. Every pregame show this season so far has aired while I was at work or was otherwise unable to listen. Today's game starts at 10:05, well after I get home from work. I will finally get to hear Lemmer on the radio again. Oh, this is a happy happy day.
And just check out those glasses. I wish i could find a pair like that!
UPDATE: So I turn on the Braves affiliate 100.5 for some lemmer goodness. I hear... Green Day. Confused, I flip around the stations. No Lemmer. I go out to my car and turn on 680 the Fan, the AM affiliate. The signal is dead at night. No Lemmer. I start searching every possible radio station for Lemmer. 95.7 has Rome Braves baseball, which I didn't know was even on before now. No Lemmer. I finally found 101.1 another FM Affiliate! That's actually clear way up in Nawth Gawja! Hooray! Then I hear... Jim and Don. No Lemmer. FML.
A silver lining occurred when I found a station playing Usher's Yeah, which is a guilty pleasure of mine. Yeah!
She asked for one more dance, and I'm like yeah, how the hell am I supposed to leave??

That song is probably in my top 10 of all-time worsts. I'd seriously rather listen to the worst Ludacris song than that.
