Fuji's latest homework assignment to us bloggers desperate for a Japanese Kitteh Card is to relay our
most embarrassing hobby moment. I'm having problems with this assignment. Even though I'm the type of person who randomly remembers that stupid thing I said in 3rd grade and lets it ruin my day every so often, I'm having problems remembering an embarrassing hobby moment. Ok, once I bought an Eddie Belfour stick relic redemption card online for $35 and Topps ended up replacing it with a pack of Stadium Club and two jersey cards of Chris Pronger. I also bought a box of 1992 Pinnacle Jumbos for $65 while leaving a bunch of vintage cards on the table. Oh, and I bought a pack of 2007 Moments and Milestones once. Eh, shit happens. I'm not terribly embarrassed about card shopping mistakes though, in this hobby you gotta have a closer's mentality about buyer's regret or you'll be miserable.
Not only that, if you take a look at a very small sample of my collection - and these are
cornerstones of the collection, mind you - you'll soon realize that as far as the hobby goes...
I HAVE NO SHAME.
None. None at all. Ok, Maybe I'm a
little embarrassed about the ponies.

I was wondering if you ever felt a tiny bit embarrassed about those ponies.
What is up with the Chipper card? He looks all... wonky.
@McCann The Chipper card is plastic with little pieces that you can pop out and put together into a 3D Chipper. If I ever find another one I'm going to put it together.
A Meathead sighting - that rocks!
I thought of you this morning when I read about BronyCon, a My Little Pony convention in the Meadowlands this past weekend. The article was basically about how there were men at a My Little Pony convention. I'm not in a position to give you any grief about the ponies, but please... PLEASE... Tell me you don't dress up as the characters.
Please?
@shlabotnikreport No, I have not gone full furry. I don't even have a pony t-shirt unless you count the Ford Mustang shirt I have.
