Don't Jinx 'em John

I don't mind that John Donovan wrote an article about all the 'clean' players in baseball, I'm just not thrilled that he chose my favorite player as the poster child for non-juicing.

I don't think any of the players in John's article are up to no good, I just don't want to hear their names (especially him, him and him) even mentioned in a good way in an article about that stuff. Besides, it's just too dang easy for crap like this to happen nowadays with internet rumors and useless media outlets all trying to dig up the stinkiest dirt all the time. I don't want to hear about allegations or non-allegations or any of that junk anymore, I just want my game back. Stay cool, Larry. Stay cool.

Chipper is the man. I love the clean image. As a father of two little boys, if my boys are going to look up to sports figures, I hope it is people like Chipper. By the way, I like that first card. Don't have that one in the collection. Now I have to go look on ebay. Thanks a lot.

LOL, well it's a 1996 Topps Finest card #16. I can at least help you out on the ebay search.

I hate that we have to wonder about everybody now. No matter how confident I am that a player is clean there is still that nagging thought once in a while where you just don't know.

I guess Hooters waitresses don't count as Performance Enhancing Drugs......

If banging waitresses was a performance enhancer, then Mickey Mantle would have 900 home runs. Heck, Joe Pepitone would have 500 homers just off Mickey's leftovers.
