GOT A BOX FULL OF BASEBALLCARDSTORE DOT CA CARDS IN THE MAIL AND IT'S TIME TO INFLICT THEM UPON YOUR EYES ALONG WITH SOME CAPSLOCK. ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY NINE CARDS IN TOTAL. I WAS WONDERING HOW TO SHOW THEM ALL OFF THEN REALIZED THAT SIMPLY POSTING THEM IN ORDER OUT OF THE BOX GIVES A VERY CLEAR VIEW OF THE UTTER CHAOS THAT HAPPENS WHEN I START DIGGING RANDOM GEMS OUT OF A PILE OF CARDS. THERE WILL BE SIXTEEN POSTS OF TEN CARDS EACH EXCEPT FOR ONE SPECIAL POST OF ELEVEN. I'VE NOTICED MY ALL MY PICKUPS FIT ONE OF OF THE FOLLOWING NINE CATEGORIES:
BRAVES - GOTTA HAVE MY BARVES
MY OTHER TEAMS - LOTS OF HAWKS, SOME FROM FOOTBALL TEAMS, PERHAPS EVEN SOME HOCKEY IF I'M FEELING NOSTALGIC
INSERTS - I'M MILDLY OBSESSED WITH PICKING UP AS MANY INSERT CARDS AS POSSIBLE AT THE MOMENT
ODDBALLS - LOVE LOVE LOVE ME SOME ODDBALLS, THE ODDER THE BETTER
SUPERSTARS - THERE AIN'T NO TROUTS OR SHOHEIS OR JORDANS OR LEBRONS OR (BLECCH) BRADYS IN THE CHEAPO CARD PILE BUT THAT LEVEL RIGHT UNDER THEM? OH YEAH, IT'S FUN TO PICK UP THOISE GUYS
HIGH-END SETS - IF I CATCH SIGHT OF A CARD THAT HAD A HIGH PRICE TAG ON ITS PACK BACK IN THE DAY AMONGST ALL THE FLAGSHIP BASECARDS I TRY TO SNAG IT
PLAYER COLLECTIONS - HEYWARDS, HORFORDS, TUGGLES, LEMKES, ETC. STUFF I'M THINKING ABOUT ENTERING INTO TCDB BUT I'M TOO LAZY
WANTLIST STUFF - I HAVE GRAVELY NEGLECTED MY WANTLISTS DUE TO BEING BLINDED BY THE SHINIES BUT I HAVE MANAGED TO COMPLETE SOME SETS
NON-SPORT - THE FUN DESSERT OF THE CARD COLLECTING MEAL. JUST THE WEIRDEST NONSENSE I CAN FIND
160 CARDS IS A LOTTA CARDS SO LET'S GET STARTED HERE
APEX SOCCER COUPON
ONE OF MY FAVORITE THINGS ABOUT BUYING FROM THIS SELLER IS SEEING WHAT COOL FILLER CARDS ARE USED IN PACKING THE BOX. WE GOT SOME GREAT ONES THIS TIME INCLUDING A SOCCER COUPON FROM 2015. ANYONE WHO HAS A PILE OF THESE THINGS LYING AROUND IS A TRUE COLLECTOR SICKO LIKE ME AND I RESPECT IT. THIS KIND OF EPHEMERA IS GOING TO BE THE RAREST STUFF TO COLLECT FIFTY YEARS FROM NOW, ASSUMING ANYONE WILL BE LEFT ALIVE TO COLLECT IT
1992 ACTION PACKED BOB HORNER
CATEGORY - BRAVES, PLAYER COLLECTION
FIRST CARD OUT OF THE BOX IS THE FIRST CARD WHERE I ACCIDENTALLY BOUGHT A SECOND COPY. YOU'LL SEE MORE OF THIS SOON. IT'S A COOL CARD AND I FORGOT! I ALREADY HAVE THIS ONE ANYWAY SO WHO CARES. ACTION PACKED WAS SO GOOL IN THE EARLY 90S AND I LOVED THIS SET BUT I COULD ONLY FIND PACKS AT K-MART FOR LIKE $2.69 A PACK AND THA'T TOO MUCH FOR A PACK IN 1992
1992 UPPER DECK FRED MCGRIFF HOMETOWN HEROES
CATEGORY - BRAVES, INSERT, WANTLIST, PLAYER COLLECTION
I HAVE EXPRESSED MY GREAT DESIRE TO COMPLETE THE UPPER DECK INSERT SETS FROM 1990-1993 PREVIOUSLY. HERE'S ANOTHER ONE FOR THE COLLECTION ALTHOUGH I AM NOT 100% SURE IF THIS IS FOR THE UPPER DECK INSERT BINDER, THE BRAVES BOX OF IF I JUST WANTED A COOL CARD OF HALL OF FAMER FRED MCGRIFF. DAMN THAT SOUNDS GOOD. HALL OF FAMER FRED MCGRIFF
2022 TOPPS FORMULA ONE SEBASTIAN VETTEL
CATEGORY - INSERT
I ONE THOUSAND PERCENT PICKED THIS UP JUST BECAUSE I THOUGHT IT HAD A COOL DESIGN. I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THIS DRIVER OR F1 IN GENERAL OR EVEN WHAT THE INSERT IS CALLED. WHEN I WAS PUTTING TOGETHER MY COLLECTING CATEGORIES I BRIEFLY CONSIDERED THE CATEGORY OF 'BULLSHIT' UNTIL I REALIZED THAT 96% OF ALL THE NON SPORTS CARDS I GOT FIT INSIDE IT. THANKFULLY THIS IS AN INSERT SO NON-SPORTS COULD BREAK OFF ON THEIR OWN
1988 TOPPS STANLEY MORGAN 1000 YARD CLUB INSERT
CATEGORY - WANTLIST, INSERT
ONE OF THE THINGS I WANT TO DO BEFORE I DIE IS FINISH UP ALL THOSE 1980S TOPPS FOOTBALL SETS I HAVE 90% COMPLETE. THIS INCLUDES THE ONE-PER PACK 1000 YARD CLUB CARD SETS WHICH ARE WAY HARDER TO COMPLETE THAN YOU'D THINK THEY WOULD BE. IT COUNTS AS AN INSERT TOO, WHICH IS EXTRA ADDED INCENTIVE TO PICK IT UP OVER A BORING BASE CARD
2021 HERITAGE NEW AGE PERFORMER MAX FRIED
CATEGORY - BRAVES, INSERT
IT IS SUPER HARD TO PICK UP COOL STUFF FROM THE RECENTLY ADDED LISTING ON THE SITE AND I WAS STOKED TO SNAG THIS INSERT OF MAX BEFORE SOMEONE STOLE IT AWAY FROM ME. I'VE HONESTLY GOTTEN A LITTLE OBSESSED WITH GRABBING THE GOOD STUFF THE MOMENT IT'S POSTED LATELY. I ALMOST NEVER ACTUALLY DO IT, BUT I HAVE A FEW WINS
2000-01 TOPPS JASON KIDD
CATEGORY - WANTLIST, SUPERSTAR
I BOUGHT NONE OF THIS SET WHEN IT FIRST CAME OUT AND IT'S ONE OF MY COLLECTING REGRETS. I THINK I WAS SPENDING ALL MY MONEY ON HERITAGE AND ARCHIVES AT THE TIME. PLUS THE HAWKS WERE JUST DREADFUL. I REALLY LIKE THE UNIQUE PURPLE BORDERS ON THESE AND KIDD IS A NICE PLAYER TO HAVE
1994 DONRUSS SPECIAL EDITION JEFF BAGWELL
CATEGORY - WANTLIST, SUPERSTAR
OF ALL THE 90S PARALLEL SETS, THE ONLY ONE I HAVE A PRAYER OF EVER COMPLETING IS THIS SPECIAL EDITION SET FROM 1994. IT'S ONLY A HUNDRED CARD SET AND THEY ARE SURPRISINGLY EASY TO FIND. BAGWELL IS A BIG PICKUP, THIS ONE WOULD BE ONE OF THE MORE EXPENSIVE ONES TO PICK UP AT FULL PRICE. THE ONE DIFFICULT THING ABOUT THIS SET IS THE CARD NUMBERS AS DONRUSS INEXPLICABLY USED THE SAME HOLOFOIL STAMPING ON THEM AS THEY DID WITH THE TEAM ANA NAME ON THE FRONT. I NEED TO COMPLETE THIS BEFORE MY EYESIGHT GETS ANY WORSE
1994-95 FLAIR HAKEEM OLAJUWON
CATEGORY - SUPERSTAR
I LOVE CENTERS AND AS THE GAME IS RAPIDLY CHANGING, THIS STYLE OF GIGANTIC CENTER IS AN ENDANGERED SPECIES. THE 90S WERE THE GLORY YEARS OF THE HUMUNGOUS CENTER AND HAKEEM WAS THE BEST. IF YOU DOUBT MY WORDS, THINK ABOUT THIS: WHAT OTHER PLAYER COULD HAVE BEEN PICKED AHEAD OF MICHAEL JORDAN IN THE DRAFT AND STILL HAVE PEOPLE THINKING "YEAH THAT WAS A REALLY GOOD PICK FOR HOUSTON". THIS COULD PROBABLY ALSO FALL UNDER THE CATEGORY HIGH-END BUT FLAIR WAS SUPER OVERPRINTED SO I DON'T LOOK AT IT THAT WAY
2017-18 TIM HORTON'S JOHNNY GAUDREAU GAME DAY ACTION
CATEGORY - INSERT
MY TOTAL DISINTEREST IN ALL THINGS HOCKEY SORT OF EVAPORATED WHEN I WAS FACED WITH A LARGE AMOUNT OF COOL LOOKING HOCKEY INSERTS. IT EVEN REKINDLED A COUPLE OF OLD PLAYER COLLECTIONS. I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THIS DUDE BUT THE CARD LOOKED COOL. I'VE BEEN VERY JEALOUS OF ALL THE CANADIANS SHOWING OFF THEIR COFFEE CARDS ON TWITTER OVER THE YEARS SO IT'S NICE TO GET ONE OF MY OWN
NEXT BATCH - IMMORTALS, ODDBALLS AND MAYBE A DEMON

Oh man I absolutely love filler cards (baseball related) and actively trade for them: sweepstakes, special offer, redemption, subscription, info, etc. got a binder full. Good stuff.
You've inspired me into action. Just emailed the canada card store.
please don't take all my good cards i haven't bought yet!
A. Love the CAPSLOCK! It's your trademark. The blogosphere needs more CAPSLOCK.
B. Super jealous of that Flair Olajuwon. I loved all of those Flair products from the 90's.
C. Haven't checked out their inventory lately. Been busy... so it might be another month or two.
I just placed my second order with them and can't wait to receive. Nice pick-ups on your end.
