I'd rather draw ponies
First time in my life that I've ever rooted for the Braves.
I literaly had a tear in my eye watching Billy come off the field... and then I really started to cry when I realized it was Farnsworth coming in.....but they turned to tears of joy soon enough.
It's amazing how players who struggled during the regular season turn into heroes during the postseason. Ankiel had miserable stats after coming over to the Braves but that home run erased it. And Farnsworth is heartattack inducing all on his own.
I'm still utterly amazed that for one night, the deal with the Royals appears to have been worth it.
I am loving this blog right now, worthless as it might be!!!
they still gotta win two more :)
As a recovering Cubs fan (on step 3, ready for my Cubs inventory), I heard the cries of fear and loathing when Farnsworth came into the game.
I guess being sick and not able to sleep has it's advantages after all! I got to see Ankiel's homer to win the game.
