Were you fortunate enough to be at the game that night - in other words, is this your scorecard from that evening, or was this something you acquired later?
Either way, this is a great piece of history. Thanks for sharing the pics!
Wow! Notice the managers on that roster? D. Baker, D. Johnson, J. Oates - and those are just the ones off the top of my head. Niekro was manager of that women's team too. Great item.
That's an incredible piece. I remember watching that game, especially seeing Billy Buckner try to scale that wall (pre-ankle injury).
I remember my folks taking me to a game in St. Louis on 5/6/72 and I saw Hank hit #645 off Reggie Cleveland. At that time Hank was #3 on the list, as Willie Mays had 646, but even as an 8 year old, I knew I'd seen something pretty special.

I was in diapers when this game was played, so I unfortunately wasn't there.
I picked this up later on and no one will believe where I got it. I'll save that for another post.
WOW! That was fucking AWESOME!
Wow. That's amazing!
(BTW, did you ever get the scan of the newspaper clipping I sent you?)

I have one of the commemorative 715 pieces signed by the man that night. Love your blog.
