Hanson MLB Logo Promo

I didn't even realize Topps was doing this promo this year:

Apparently you could get these cards each week from the local card shop free with purchase of some packs. They are actually fairly attractive if you ignore the in-your-face MLB logo. That logo is there for a reason - it's to commemorate Topps' despicable monopoly new exclusive license with MLB Properties as sole manufacturer of licensed baseball cards. Sez so right on the back: " This card of Tommy Hanson has been specially created to  celebrate the exclusive partnership between Topps and Major League Baseball". Well, at least something good came out of it. The thing I don't understand is that it says onthe back to "visit your HTA store each week for a new card" but there's 50 cards in the set. This thing will drag out until next year at that rate. I'm at least 15 weeks behind so I'll pass on this one. The Hanson shore is purdy though.

In other marketing news, The Topps Transmogrifier will be spitting out football cards this autumn. Topps will probably add a super special Tim Tebow card around week 11 to commemorate his NFL debut in the fourth quarter to take a knee at the end of a blowout game against the Chiefs.

Guessing time

Ok, I got this here out of a rack pack tonight.

I have amassed a small pile of codes now, enough so that if the '50s switch is ever thrown again I might be able to snag one or two. Since I haven't redeemed a code in months I'm going to redeem this one sometime after midnight and before 8:00am. Depends on when I fall asleep, really.

If anyone can guess which card (year & player) I pull out of the transmogrifier I'll send you a prize. If no one hits it on the nose, I'll consider a lesser prize if someone gets the player or the year. Winner gets a random autograph, a card of the player they picked, a card from the year they picked and some assorted detritus I want out of my house. If no one is even close, you'll get nothing and like it. Start guessing.

Three packs, nine cards

This weekend didn't exactly go the way I wanted it to posting wise. Saturday was chewed up completely by work and a power outage at my house that lasted almost 6 hours. Today was 100% Father's Day activities from the moment I got up until the moment I got home about a half hour ago. Luckily for me, one of the activities was to go to Wal-Mart to buy some baseball equipment for my son. Not only did I get some important father-son bonding stuff done, I also sneaked three retail packs of Topps into the cart at the checkout line. Here's nine cards from the three packs since, that's all I can fit on the scanner at one time.

Pack 1:

522 Jordan Schafer

Here's the guy who will put Nate McLouth out on the streets. Assuming Jordan can get over all his many dings and ailments, that is. I'm thinking Jordan knows to get the hell out of the way when Jason Heyward is coming charging straight at him, so he's got that on Nate.

582 Martin Prado

MARTEEEEEEEEEEEN! Your 2010 National League All-Star reserve at second base. Possible starter if Chase Utley is too banged up. Don't you call me a homer, the dude's leading the league in average and hits.

T4 2020 Topps David Price

My Dream: The Braves and Rays win their respective pennants and face off in the World Series. I win the lottery and use the proceeds to buy tickets to all 7 games. The series goes to game 7 and I invite the Collective Troll to see the game with me in Tampa. Game 7 is the greatest in history, with David Price and Tommy Hanson both taking no hitters into the 9th. Price gets the first two batters out in the ninth and Brooks Conrad pinch hits for Tommy. Price hangs a slider, Brooks goes yard, Wagner locks down the ninth and as the Braves celebrate their World Championship, I look over at Bacon and say: "The Price is wrong, bitch!!!" The Bradentucky Bombers then roll into the stadium and hipcheck me into oblivion as I die the happiest man in the world.

549 Derek Jeter

JUMPING JETER!@!!!

That's all, I just wanted to say Jumping Jeter.

Pack 2:

VLC3 Reggie Jackson Vintage Legends

OHMYGOD THIS IS CARD IS FREAKING BEAUTIFUL

LL-43 MIKE SCHMIDT & alex rodriguez Legendary Lineage

OHMYGOD HALF THIS IS CARD IS FREAKING BEAUTIFUL

Pack 3:

710 Darryl Strawberry 1988 Card My Momma Never Threw Out

Oh goody, a 1988 card with the original back.... never seen one of those before.....

No 24 in a series of 45 Dizzy Dean Blue Back

I'd really like to complete this set but singles of retail-only inserts are really hard to come by.

T7 2020 Topps Ryan Howard

The more I see of this set the more I like it. There's a cool Kellogg's vibe going on here and I like the way the stars wave around in the background. The card isn't lenticular like the old Kellogg's or Sportflics cards with the lines going across, there is a little grid of bumps instead. I approve of this slightly-more-futuristic-than-cards-from-the -'70s technology.

Traders from the quarter box

One great thing about quarter boxes is you can find cheap cool stuff to send people. I may not really need these in my collection, but there are others out there who do. I owe packages to about a dozen people so it's good to find this kind of stuff.

Here's a Topps 2020 card of Clayton Kershaw. I don't think I've shown any of these off on the blog yet. I think the concept behind this set is to show off current young stars who will likely be dominating the league in 10 years. I'm just going to say it right now. Here's the checklist, in 2010 half of these dudes will be completely out of the league and only 3 will still be with their current teams. THIS I PREDICT. I also predict that cards won't look even a little bit like this in 2020. This looks lore like a card from the '70s that could be found in a cereal box. I will say that the 3D floaty stars look cool, although I am not a fan of the red back.

I've pulled a Bowman blue card from this year and I must say definitively that the blue on the 2008 card looks much better. It's a brighter, more smurfy blue. Pronk here is numbered to 500. Travis hit a homer off of the Golden One so now he is a mythical creature like the Cyclops or Minotaur. The Bludgeoning Pronk was a monster in Homer's Odyssey wasn't it?

I still don't know if I'm collecting the Turkey Red sets from this year and last or not. I think I am, but I'm doing it in a very nonchalant way. I should really focus n the '06-'07 set first since I'm so close to completing the non-SP set. I haven't even bothered to put a list together for that one yet. Everyone asks me for Brewers cards even though Thorzul has wiped me out so I'll pick up an extra one if I can get it. I like Prince Fielder, but I wish he'd sign with the Yankees. I really want to make Frank Zappa's The Evil Prince his unofficial theme song in my head, but he's too cute and cuddly in the Brewers digs.

I'm not crazy about these double-player Legendary Lineage cards but I can handle them when they at least feature two platers from the same team. I'm not sure how I'm going to be able to handle Dale Murphy with Matt Kemp on the same card. This one here's all right though, and half the universe loves the Red Sox so it's bound to be in demand. Of course all four of these just entered someone's trade pile so don't make any offers. Maybe I need to hit that quarter box again. After I go to the post office of course.

A couple from the quarter box

I hit the card shop with the quarter box again today, vintage lists in hand. Unfortunately, I bragged too much about how I found a quarter box with early '70s cards in it.

The '70s cards were almost completely wiped out.

Luckily, I had already gotten all the semi-high numbered cards and as many '72s off my wantlist that I could find before the vintage goodness evaporated. I am nothing if not flexible in my card-scrounging skills and I still managed to walk out of the shop with a large pile of swag. There was quite a bit of 2010 short prints, inserts and parallels in the box and I managed to get some quarter goodies. Here are a couple that fit a theme.

Here's a 1954 Topps Yo Momma of Al Kaline. Al's rookie card is the second best card from the '54 set and is pretty iconic in its own right. I've always liked Al and not just because my nerdy sciencey self snickered a bit at his name when I was a kid. One time when my mom was out on a business trip, she came home with a couple of pages of baseball cards for me that she found at an antique shop. Two pages of vintage Al Kaline cards. The '54 wasn't in there but there was a really nice 1960 card of Al that I still cherish. That card is the exact opposite of a card Yo Momma threw out. I found a nice pile of these in the box and nabbed them all. I also found this:

Here's a National Chicle short print of Reid Gorecki. Reid made his debut with the Braves last year and played in 31 games mostly as a defensive replacement and pinch runner. He was released after the season and is now in the Yankees' minor league system. I'm kind of bummed about that now, after appearing in just about every early 2010 set as a Brave, he finally gets a really cool card and is now a Yankee. Them's the breaks.

What a Hall of Fame Tiger and a journeyman rookie have in common, I don't know. The '54 Topps design ties them together at least on a couple of quarter cards.

Topps is Earth Friendly

I've been pretty critical of Topps lately, but even so I know that their heart is in the right place. Sure, they're alienating most of their customer base and dooming the hobby - and their very livelihood - into obscurity within the next generation through underhanded gimmickry, but at least they care about our environment.

I was doing some spring cleaning about three months late yesterday and while reorganizing a bookshelf I stumbled across this 2005 Braves Media Guide.

I forgot I had it and it was a neat find. It looked a little familiar though... I had a feeling of Deja vu... Where had I seen that picture before?

Oh yeah!

2010 Topps Series 2! Card #604.

This Braves franchise history card got a little piece of media guide history. Topps recycles! Good job Topps. You get the green seal of approval!

How Topps can recover from a PR Disaster

Last night's "Let's make the very first rookie card of the most insanely overhyped rookie since Brien Taylor a super short printed gimmick that you can only get online in a baseball card slot machine and to make it fair for everyone let's tell everyone it is available after the first pitch before the game and then actually release it around the seventh inning" marketing genius from Topps has really energized the hobby! Just look at all these positive reactions!

A Cardboard Problem
"Strasburg's RC - AKA the card I didn't win"

The Paper Chase
"One card I will never own"

Mint Condition
"Words cannot describe the anger I am feeling now"

JD's Wild Cardz
"these cards were not even available when I entered my code"

Sign Here... And Here.
"Strasburg broke the Transmogrifier"

Sports Cards Uncensored
"Everyone will need to spend a ton now to truly complete the base set. Nice job there."

Stale Gum
"Topps: Go Fuck  Yourself"

Um. Ahem. Those aren't very positive reactions at all. Oh, but those are bloggers. Bloggers are a bunch of nerdy entitled gripe asses who complain about everything. Let's take a look at some of the comments on the official Topps blog!

Dan:
This whole promotion has been shady from the beginning. If each code is not directly linked to a card there was no sense in entering any at the beginning of the year. You know the Mantle won't be given away until later in the year to keep people buying codes. Huge gimic, blown my trust. Now the Strasburg thing comes up. This is what I get for being a loyal customer and buying all my cards at release date in large amounts and entering the codes right away. Extremely disappointed
Joe Joe:
This venture sucks! I miss the days of no inserts and all that garbage---true rookie cards!

Kreepy13:
Thats BS... I am Very unhappy now cause you all said that AFTER the 1st Pitch they cards would be available. Thanks for the BS. You are lucky you are the only MLB liscensed product. Cause this shit pisses me off and why I left the hobby before. Thanks for screwing with us and lying to EVERYONE!!!

QUOTE FROM TOPPS so you all don't have to look up:

"Major League Baseball trading cards, has announced that Strasburg’s first ever MLB rookie card will be made available exclusively online via www.toppsmillion.com immediately following his first pitch in the big leagues."
Markad:
Is it time to start entering codes?? When can I enter my codes and be eligible to get the strassburg????????????????????????// This is confusing???
 NOT HAPPY:
I went out today and bought two code cards so I could enter them for tonight's promotion. I waited until after the first pitch (after the first half inning, in fact), and now I find out that the Strasburg's weren't available as of the first pitch AS ADVERTISED???!!! This is absolutely disgraceful Topps... the collectors here have shown their support, but this is a huge let down on your part.

Bruce Campbella:
I hope everyone realizes that this will be an incredibly short-printed card and almost impossible to pull/redeem. Topps has strung people along with this Topps Million Card Giveaway promotion and it has worked wonders for selling product. It hasn't done wonders for the collectors. Most of the vintage "cards from their vault" are in terrible shape, including a lot of hand-writing, creases, etc. It's been a scam since day one, why should the Strasburg idea be any different?

Ken:
Yes, Just another "ripoff to the buyer" promotion it seems. I am a small time collector but I would have to say that I spend in the neighborhood of $1000 per year on Topps products alone. Or should I say that I did in the past. I will not buy any more Topps product unless it is from an individual who already has what I want or need. No more from the outlets. I feel that the hobby is collapsing because of this type of dealings. Mostly I feel insulted that Topps would do this and think that I was stupid enough not to catch it. Maybe they think that all of their customers are gullable eight year olds. Hell, thats an even bigger insult ! Take the kids money ... he will never know !

Ryan Emery:
I guess I got taken by topps... I entered my codes when the site came back up... no Strasburg for me! But money in topps pocket, as I bought to get code cards today... no more, done for the year!
wayloheyo
listen it is not about us right now its about leting the new guys have a chance to make a name for them selves. u should be in it not for ur selves and what u collect but what u collect for your kids our even your grand kids.........................

Dan Jackson in reply to wayloheyo:
Ok, if that's the case, I want to make sure that Topps doesn't pull unfair and shady promotions on my children and grandchildren.
hk:
Topps no longer Tops on my list

These comments are all on Topps' official blog by die-hard collectors who spend time on that blog and were extremely excited about the promotion. This is not positive feedback in any way shape or form. I don't even know how people are reacting on Facebook or Twitter or on the forums, but I can't imagine that it's mich better than this. I fully expect to see a press release describing how successful the Strasburg promotion was in the near future. Heck, it probably was very successful for Topps. They probably sold a lot of packs, the code cards are already selling for ludicrous prices on eBay and I'm sure this promotion will be mentioned in the media more than once giving Topps some free advertising. So short term, this is going to be a boon for Topps. There is a very serious long term price to be paid however.

First of all, collectors are going to stop trusting the Transmogrifier. This is the second significant launch day that was screwed up by Topps resulting in collectors desperate to unlock codes ending up unhappy. Both times Topps had poor communication that left collectors wondering what the hell was going on, unsure when to enter codes. On the day it went live, they couldn't enter codes at all, last night they burned through many precious codes for nothing. These codes can get expensive and many collectors aren't going to throw away their money for nothing a second time. Counting on everyone who got burned to come back for more is foolish thinking, especially in a hobby that is shrinking, not expanding.

Topps is also looking very untrustworthy right now. Collectors have figured out that instead of having each code tied to a particular card like in redemtions, that any code entered could end up with damn near anything, including cards that weren't a part of the promotion at the start. How many people would have saved up all your codes if you knew you could pull a Strasburg rookie back in February? A whole BUNCH that's how many, but that would have caused their launch to be less spectacular with far, far less codes being redeemed. Since each code is not tied to a particular card, who's to say that Topps isn't giving out the Strasburgs only to high rollers who redeem the most codes or to dealers as a kickback for buying lots of product? They probably aren't - I don't think Topps has gotten to Richard McWilliam levels of shadiness quite yet - but with all the crooked shenanigans going on in this business why set yourself up for the suspicion?

The Transmogrifier (I'm having a hard time trying to write seriously about this subject while calling it that - is there a real name for it yet?) is a very good innovation in the hobby and could be important to Topps for a long time to come. Is it really worth losing your customer's trust in the device just for a gimmick like this? Seriously, are you going to trust it in February 2011 when Topps puts out a whole new batch of codes to redeem? Will you enter in the codes right away or just sit on all them and wait for Topps to pull next year's gimmick? Every Time Topps pulls a stunt, seasoned collectors learn from it. The last Topps base set I built from scratch was the 2007 set. I learned from the 2008 Santana no-hitter card #661 that Topps could screw up the base set at any time so I gave up on trying to collect it. Apparently I was right to do this because now three of the Topps base sets from the last 5 years are uncompleteable by the average collector.

This is the biggest problem I have with this: once again the base set has been compromised. They've taken it off the Topps Million splash page, but every indication is that card #661 in the 2010 Topps set is an extremely short printed Strasburg rookie card that is only available through an online slot machine. That card would have been highly sought after and pricey without the artificial scarcity aspect.  How much do you think it will go for now? How many set collectors will be willing to pay that just to be able to complete the set? THE. TOPPS. BASE. SET. Topps has forgotten that this hobby (and their own success) was originally built by kids who bought piles of crappy gum just so they could collect 'em all. Now it's all about people gambling to get the big card. I don't know about you, but if I want to gamble, I'll just go to Vegas. If I want to collect the 2010 flagship exclusive baseball set... well, I just can't do that anymore. Because Topps has completely forgotten what this hobby is about.

As a pain in the ass blogger who just likes to complain, I am fully aware that I have done nothing but complain in this post. Well, here's something positive and constructive. Topps has completely screwed the pooch on this but they can fix everything pretty easily AND make tons of money AND get a ton of publicity all at the same time. Let me explain.

First of all, the genie is out of the bottle, 2010 Topps card #661 is Steven Straburg's very first official rookie card and is only available on www.toppscards.com. This is a fact written in stone which has made a large number of collectors very unhappy. However, Topps doesn't have to backtrack, apologize or change anything about the promotion to make it so EVERY 2010 Topps collector is made wildly happy by this state of affairs. Here's all Topps has to do:

Topps simply needs to release a press release stating that every collector who enters a Topps Million Card Giveaway code after Strasburg's official debut on 6/8/2010 gets a Strasburg RC in their collection in addition to whatever vintage card they received, limit one per account.

That's it. One small change to the promotion and not only is any goodwill they lost last night immediately restored, but Topps also gets to deal with a second frenzy of code redemptions and all the publicity that comes with it. Think about it, if you want the first Strasburg rookie card, you need a Topps Code. Here are just some of the benefits of this move:

  • All existing collectors with a Topps Million account will want to enter in a code to get that last card for the set.
  • Plenty of collectors who never bothered will sign up and enter codes to get a Strasburg.
  • Plenty of people WHO DON'T EVEN COLLECT CARDS will buy some packs of Topps or some codes online just to get a card of Mr. Superhype.
  • Most of these collectors will now actually pay the shipping charges to get their redeemed cards so they can get the Strasburg in their hands.

And the most important part:

  • Topps packs - Series One as well as Series Two - will fly off the shelves by people wanting to get a Strasburg rookie.

The only drawback I can possibly see from this is from people creating tons of accounts for tons of codes in order to claim as many Strasburg cards as they can get. Even so, Topps STILL makes money from the two dollar shipping charge! Think about it - one code per 6 packs is $12 in packs sold per code. Add two more for shipping and you have $14 spent on each Strasburg. You really think it will cost $14 to print and ship each Strasburg? And no matter how many are ultimately redeemed and shipped, the Strasburg RC will STILL be seen as an extremely short printed redemption card so it will STILL retain an excellent price tag in the long run.

TOPPS, YOU HAVE A LICENSE TO PRINT MONEY HERE.

You have a chance to recover big time from this colossal screw up. You can get some great publicity, bring new collectors into the hobby and make a lot of money. For the good of the hobby, please don't blow it.

2010 Topps Series 2 pack - Dustin Pedroia

When I first saw the box for Topps Series two, by first reaction was: Pedroia?? I guess it was a reward for doing a very funny video game commercial. I'm not gonna lie, this was by far the best of the packs.

441 Clete Thomas

Ball on Bat action!

604 Braves Franchise

Awwwww yeah! Chippah and Henny Youngman hoisting the 2004 Division Banner. We'll have to get us a new one of those this year. The back is kinda cool:

Chipper and Huddy are dominating the categories for active Braves right now. Looking at the all-time leaders, I don't think any of those are changing for a loooong time.

CMT63 1956 Ernie Banks Yo Momma Card

Yo Momma! I relish every single one of these that bless my packs. 1956 ismy second favorite set from the '50s too. I don't even mind getting a Cub, because Ernie transcends all Cubbieness as The Perfect Cub. What I really want to know is where the hell is Hank Aaron in this set. Topps had an entire year dedicated to Hank in 2000, and nothing this year. They're gonna make money hand over fist thanks to Straburg Mania, they can damn well pony up the license fees to get a '56 Yo Momma of Hammer in the Update set.

LL-53 Nolan Ryan/Justin Verlander Legendary Lineage

I'm not a huge fan of this set, but damn this is a cool looking card with Express and Verlander going for the gold in synchronized pitching.

Jake Peavy Silk # 19/50

Hey I only got 8 cards in this pack! Rip off!!! Ah yes, the silky card. Of a player that would have been a Brave if he hadn't vetoed the trade. Can you believe this is my first silk? I haven't had much luck pulling these before now and I didn't feel like paying out the big bucks just to caress the fabric. It just goes to show that if you buy enough packs, you'll pull one of everything sooner or later.

458 Todd Wellemeyer

PITCHIING ARE SERIOUS BIZNISS

507 Francisco Rodriguez

K-Rod got 62 saves in 2008. Then the Mets threw a lot of money at him. Do you think K-Rod will get 62 saves in his first two years with the Mets? He needs 17 more this year to pull it off.

Max Scherzer TAttaxTown

Matt got Dontrelle Willis kicked out of Detroit and posted 14 Ks in a game while doing it. It's sort of weird how Dontrelle and Max traded 2009 teams.

Allrighty, that was the bet of the bunch by far. Once I get my act together I'll post the Mick.

One Card Review -2010 Topps Finest

Yes, it is completely unfair to judge a set on the based on a single card. Ya know what? Life's unfair. Here's 2010 Topps Finest boiled down to one card. But first, a quiz:

Andruw Jones, 51 homers. That would be answer C. Duh. Oh, you wanted to try to guess? Sorry. That one was just too easy. Here's the card:

Brian McCann. BMac was the first Finest card I got my grubby mitts on for the past three years. He ends up in the 50 cent boxes for some reason. I'm going to come right out and say it. I love Finest. I've loved it since it first came out in 1993. I like the high-end stock, I like the whiggetywhack designs, I like the bright gaudy colors. Finest it the set where the Topps designers are free to imbibe in all sorts of mind-altering chemicals watch some cult movies and just go nuts. It's so utterly tacky it works. So, look at that card. What do you see? I see Grey. Gunmetal Gray as far as the eye can see.

The whole reason I like this set is for its oddball creative designs. It sure ain't for the price. It sure ain't for the chromium stock, Topps and Bowman Chrome sort of annoy me but it works on Finest for some reason. I like that unexplainable condition of being shiny, not just in its reflectivity of light property but all those other things that go along with it to make a baseball card shiny.. This card is not shiny at all.

The only color on the entire front of this card other than the player's uniform and the team logo is a tiny orange finest logo. Everything else is black, white and grey. And ooooh the grey. So much grey. When I first saw this design on a sell sheet I liked it. I'm a fan of big gaudy team logos floating in space for no reason and this had that in spades. Little did I know that it was jut the etched outline of the logo with no color. What the hell? I suppose I should be thankful for the etching, Topps has gotten really tight with that too lately. Etching must be really expensive because in a set that used to have etched patterns all over the place, we have the logo and an oval and a semicircle. And that's it. At least it hasn't been banished from the design completely like in Bowman. I just have to come out and say it, this card is boring.

Finest should not be boring. Finest should be bright and tacky and insane and redonkulous and utterly absurd.  Finest is the big flaming drag queen of trading card sets, the set that brought us all into The Age of High End dancing and singing with a shiny colorful lightshow that rivals Disney's Electrical Parade. This is the equivalent of that drag queen wearing a sensible little black dress. Drag queens should not be wearing little black dresses, they should be wearing gigantic flowing sequined gowns in clashing neon colors with a big hat with peacock feathers all over it and a fur coat made of LIVE chinchillas so as not to be cruel to the little beasties. All the time singing showtunes to a techno beat while dancing like a Rockette. As you can see, I have very particular tastes in drag queens and I am the same way with Finest. Finest should be SHINY, dammit, and this card is boring. Topps made Finest boring. Maybe the refractors look good. I don't know. I haven't seen one.

Here's the back. It looks like the back of a Donruss/Panini football release. A whole lot of design, very little information. There's not even a season line for stats. Oh well, let's check the answer of the quiz.

Answer D. Eddie Mathews, 51 homers.

Goddamit Topps. If you're not going to put anything into making the design interesting, at least pay someone to fact check.

2010 Topps Series 2 pack - Ty Cobb

Just about everyone wanted to see the Ty Cobb pack next. Congratulations! you picked the most utterly boring pack! This one was bound to suck, I chose between the last two Cobb packs in the open box and chose poorly.

332 Brad Hawpe

I have an irrational fear that I'm going to see an eBay auction soon where the dude with the orange hat under Brad's left arm has been replaced with John Elway. Topps has utterly destroyed my piece of mind.

459 Joel Zumaya

ARMS AND LEGS EVERYWHERE.

575 Ryan Perry

He's been in the league one dang season and his arm is already all inked up. Save a little skin for later, rook!

638 Paul Konerko

Sorry, I'm not scanning the boring cards. Think of how a Paul Konerko Topps card should look and I promise you it will be more interesting than this.

384 Chris Johnson RC

He's making a goofy face bit it's still not good enough to scan.

641 Chase Headley LaMarr

Gold cards bore me. Plus, I really wish the Padres would go back to the neon brown uniforms they used to have.

PP-96 Dan Haren Peak Performance

I hate this endless, useless insert set. When it's a crummy current player that just makes it worse.

445 Miguel Olivo

This one I like. Miguel looks like he's shooting a hook shot for the Nuggets.

349 Felix Pie

How's about a piece of pie, DING DONG DING DONG
Sorry, unexpected Ween moment there. Let's move on.

Alexi Ramirez TAttaxTown

I really hate these. Ugh, one set per pack please.

So that pack sucked. They can't all be good. Up later this week is the Pedroia for the Sox fans out there. That pack only has eight cards in it though. Oops, sorry, spoiler alert.
