I'm not sure why they leave out the city name on some logos. I thought Topps was just using the official team name logo like this one for the Rockies: http://www.sportslogos.net/logo.php?id=8eswwqcutbbnbqg0d0b7sklyg
But then the official one for the Cubs has the city name in it too: http://www.sportslogos.net/logo.php?id=x5qatwhllc0jbs357kq7k41xi
My guess is that some franchises require the city/state name for marketing purposes in their logo. It seems sort of random otherwise.

how do you get your scanner to scan the white borders around all of those cards?
mine refuses to scan white borders. I have to put a coloured backing behind, scan, then crop, etc...
NICE Cobb cards!! Wanna trade???
My scanner has a preview window. Once I do the preview scan I can choose the area to scan. basically cropping during the scan instead of after.
I've got a Warren Spahn Legendary Chrome Refreactor thingamajig if'n you'd want to swap it out ofr that Cobb. Let me know.
Im sure this has been answered before, but why are some teams long-form, like "Colorado Rockies" and some short like "Cubs" (instead of Chicago Cubs)
