MOAR COOL STUFF. FINALLY. I THOUGH FOR SURE I HAD POSTED MORE COOL STUFF THAN THIS, BUT WE'RE ON POST NUMBER FOUR I GUESS. GOT WAY MORE IN THE DRAFT FOLDER SO I BEST GET A POSTIN'. BOUGHT THIS CARD AGES AGO, BEFORE THE HALL OF FAME RESULTS CAME IN EVEN
1996 TOPPS FINEST EDGAR MARTINEZ REFRACTOR
ISN'T THIS A PURDY CARD? THE SHINYNESS KINDA COMES THROUGH IN THE SCAN. MAYBE IF I HAD SCANNED IT STRAIGHT INSTEAD OF CROOKED IT WOULD LOOK FLAT AND LIFELESS. HAPPY LITTLE ACCIDENTS. THIS IS ONE OF '96 FINEST BETTER DESIGNS TOO. DAT BANNER. DAT FONT. DOSE CIRCLEY CROSSSEY BACKGROUND THINGS. THIS IS A NICE LOOKING CARD. I KNOW, I KNOW, I HAVEN'T FREED THE FINEST YET. I'M THINKIN' BOUT IT.
GOTTA LOVE A CARD NUMBER THAT IS A GRID WITH 4 SEPARATE PIECES OF INFORMATION. AT LEAST THE NUMBER IS LARGE AND BOLD FOR MY OLD-ASS EYES. SO THE STORY OF THIS IS WAAAAAAY BACK LAST WINTER I WAS MOOCHING AROUND THE FLEA MARKET LOOKING FOR COOL STUFF I COULD AFFORD WITH LIMITED FUNDS. THE LAST REMAINING CARD SELLER DUDE WAS THERE AND HE POINTED OUT A BOX OF INSERTS HOPING I'D BUY SOMETHING ALREADY. I DUG THRU IT AND SAW THIS AND WAS BEWITCHED BY THE IMMINENT HALL OF FAMER SHINY. THE PRICE WAS A BUCK MORE THAN I WOULD HAVE LIKED TO HAVE PAID, BUT SINCE IT WAS PROBABLY INSTANTLY MY BEST EDGAR CARD I THOUGHT WHAT THE HELL. WHY QUIBBLE ABOUT A BUCK WHEN AN EDGAR SHIIIINY IS ON THE LINE
I GOT THIS MAYBE ON MY LAST TRIP TO THE CARD GUY AT THE FLEA MARKET NOW THAT I THINK ABOUT IT. HE WAS TRYING TO SELL ME A LARGE BULK LOT OF MYSTERY COMMONS AND SUCH (ME: WHAT KIND OF YEARS ARE WE TALKING ABOUT? HIM: [UNINTELLIGABLE MUMBLING]) AND I WAS LIKE, YEAH I'M INTERESTED, I'LL BE BACK WHEN I HAVE THE CASH
MY FRIENDS, I HAVE NOT HAD THE CASH SINCE. MAYBE SOME DAY. GOT ME A SHINY EDGAR THO

That is a purdy Edgar and it's shininess is only enhanced by the Muppet Smooth Jazz.
I should have listened to this jam last night when I could sleep. Very relaxing. As for the Edgar... I'm a fan of all mid 90's refractors.
