So many people were mean to him, and about him, and assumed the worst in the accusations against him. Now he is being thoroughly lionized by the media. Predictable. I guess death is good for one's image.
McMahon, Fawcett and Jackson... that's thirty years of solid entertainment right there. That is, if you go by McMahon's debut on the Tonight Show in 1962 and end with Jacko's last high point before grunge buried him in 1991.
I'm not going to say that I thought everything he did was right, but the guy was good. I liked him a heck of alot better before he decided to be white, anorexic, and crazy but he was still someone who shaped the music industry whether we like him or not. He was my favorite artist when I was a kid despite most of my family making fun of me for it.

Rest In Peace, king of pop!
He was only 7 years older than me. Farrah and Michael in the same day.
A sad day for children of the seventies and eighties.
Sixties too with the Jackson 5.
Ed McMahon too, it comes in threes.

I had seen someone comment on another site that he died. I thought it was a bunch of BS. I was wrong.

If they come in 3's....then the Pasty Pedophile just saved Art Linkletter, Stan Musial, and Senator Kennedy for a while.
