2009 Goudey retail pack video

I've got 5 meetings scheduled for this afternoon so enjoy the viddy, it's all you're getting today.

For those who can't stand that awful hum in the audio on my videos (HOW DO I GET RID OF THAT??!?) here are details from the base cards from the pack organized from decent looking to most dorkiest.

The fugly, it burns!

This has happened to me a few times (the feedback noise). I don't know if you have a separate microphone or if it's just built into your computer but if it's separate I know it helps to put some distance between the microphone and any appliances that may create feedback noise. Also you may try adjusting the volume settings. These two tips did the trick for me.

Nice info on the Goudeys by the way, man I wish I had old 30's cards like that. I'm actually a big fan of the '09 set and even more so now that I see the 4-in 1 are actually pretty faithful to the originals.

Do our eyes deceive us or are you allowing older cards you own to be touched by yer human hands? Are they not sleeved? If you touch them, do they not ding?

Old cards are tough.

Besides, some of 'em (most of 'em) are so dinged that I could throw them off the Empire State Building into a tornado that just sucked up a gravel pit and they would end up looking better for the experience.
